— جَفْنَةjafnah pl. جِفَانjifān: a large bowl or basin in which food is set. Only once in the Quran, in the account of the things the jinn made for Sulaymān (peace be upon him): ﴿وَجِفَانٍ كَالْجَوَابِ وَقُدُوْرٍ رّٰسِيٰتٍ﴾ (Sabaʾ 34:13)
