(ن) جَفَا يَجْفُوْ جَفَاءًjafā yajfū jafāʾan: to move away, to turn away, to behave coldly; also for scum to rise to the surface and be thrown off.
Form VI (tafāʿul) تَجَافٰى يَتَجَافٰى تَجَافِيًاtajāfā yatajāfā tajāfiyan: for the side to keep away from the bed, to turn over and rise. Only once in the Quran, and that in form tafāʿul: ﴿تَتَجَافٰى جُنُوْبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ﴾ (As-Sajdah 32:16)
