Session 090: Surah Al-Ma'idah 84–91

O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress. ٖFor breaking oaths, expiation is the feeding of ten needy people or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot afford it - then a fast of three days is required. Intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan. Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer.

سورہ مائدہ کی آیات ۸۴ تا ۹۱ کا لفظی ترجمہ اور تفسیر، اے ایمان والو، ان پاکیزہ چیزوں کو حرام نہ ٹھہراؤ جو خدا نے تمہارے لیے جائز کی ہیں اور نہ حدود سے تجاوز کرو۔ قسم کا کفارہ دس مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلانا ہے یا ان کو کپڑے پہنانا یا ایک غلام کو آزاد کرنا ہے۔جو اس کی قدرت نہ رکھتا ہو وہ تین دن کے روزے رکھ دے۔ شراب، جوا، تھان اور پانسے کے تیر بالکل نجس شیطانی کاموں میں سے ہیں تو ان سے بچو ۔شیطان تو بس یہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہیں شراب اور جوئے میں لگا کر تمہارے درمیان دشمنی اور کینہ ڈالے اور تمہیں اللہ کی یاد اور نماز سے روکے ۔
