Session 089: Surah Al-Ma'idah 77–83

O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many. You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

سورہ مائدہ کی آیات ۷۷ تا ۸۳ کا لفظی ترجمہ اور تفسیر،اے اہل کتاب اپنے دین میں بے جا غلو نہ کرو اور ان لوگوں کی بدعات کی پیروی نہ کرو جو اس سے پہلے گمراہ ہوئے ۔تم ایمان والوں کی دشمنی میں سب سے زیادہ سخت یہود اور مشرکین کو پاؤ گے، اور اہل ایمان کی دوستی سے قریب تر ان لوگوں کو پاؤ گے جنھوں نے کہا کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں۔ یہ اس وجہ سے کہ ان کے اندر عالم اور راہب ہیں اور یہ تکبر نہیں کرتے۔
