(ض) زَبَنَ يَزْبِنُ زَبْنًاzabana yazbinu zabnan: to push, to kick away.
زَبَانِيَةٌzabāniyah (plural; views on the singular: زِبْنِيٌّzibniyy, زَابِنٌzābin, or that it has no singular from the same word): the angels of Hell who will thrust the sinners in. Only once in the Quran: ﴿سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ﴾ (Al-ʿAlaq 96:18)
