و ء لw-ʾ-l
(ض) وَاَلَ يَئِلُ وَاْلًاwa-ala yaʾilu wa-lan: to take refuge, to escape. (This verb is not used in the Quran.)
مَوْئِلٌmawʾil (noun of time or place, ẓarf, on the pattern of مَفْعِلٌmafʿil): a place of refuge, shelter. Only once in the Quran: ﴿بَلْ لَّهُمْ مَّوْعِدٌ لَّنْ يَّجِدُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِهِۦ مَوْئِلًا﴾ (Al-Kahf 18:58)
