(ن) صَمَتَ يَصْمُتُ صَمْتًاṣamata yaṣmutu ṣamtan: to keep silent.
صَامِتٌṣāmit (active participle, ism fāʿil): one who keeps silent. ﴿سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ اَدَعَوْتُمُوْهُمْ اَمْ اَنْتُمْ صَامِتُوْنَ﴾ (Al-Aʿrāf 7:193)
