ص د فṣ-d-f
(ض) صَدَفَ يَصْدِفُ صَدْفًا وَصُدُوْفًاṣadafa yaṣdifu ṣadfan wa-ṣudūfan: to turn aside, to push away (transitive); to turn away, to withdraw (intransitive). ﴿فَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَذَّبَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا﴾ (Al-Anʿām 6:157)
صَدَفٌṣadaf (noun (ism dhāt), dual صَدَفَانِṣadafāni): the side of a thing, the flank of a mountain. ﴿حَتّٰٓى اِذَا سَاوٰى بَيْنَ الصَّدَفَيْنِ﴾ (Al-Kahf 18:96)
