(ض) قَطَفَ يَقْطِفُ قَطْفًاqaṭafa yaqṭifu qaṭfan: to pluck fruit, to pick.
قِطْفqiṭf pl. قُطُوْفquṭūf: plucked fruit, a cluster. The qualification «دَانِيَةdāniyah» means hanging low, within reach. Twice in the Quran, both times in the description of Paradise: ﴿قُطُوْفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ﴾ (Al-Ḥāqqah 69:23) and ﴿وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوْفُهَا تَذْلِيْلًا﴾ (Al-Insān 76:14).
