ن غ ضn-gh-ḍ
(ن، ض) نَغَضَ يَنْغُضُ وَيَنْغِضُ نَغْضًاnaghaḍa yanghuḍu wa-yanghiḍu naghḍan: to tremble, to shake. (This verb is not used in the Quran.)
Form IV (ifʿāl) اَنْغَضَ يُنْغِضُ اِنْغَاضًاanghaḍa yunghiḍu inghāḍan: to move a limb in astonishment or mockery, as in shaking the head. Only once in the Quran: ﴿فَسَيُنْغِضُوْنَ اِلَيْكَ رُءُوْسَهُمْ﴾ (Al-Isrāʾ 17:51)
