ل ق مl-q-m
(س) لَقِمَ يَلْقَمُ لَقْمًاlaqima yalqamu laqman: to take mouthfuls rapidly, to swallow (this verb is not used in the Quran).
Form VIII (iftiʿāl) اِلْتَقَمَ يَلْتَقِمُ اِلْتِقَامًاiltaqama yaltaqimu iltiqāman: to swallow something in one gulp. Only once in the Quran: ﴿فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوْتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيْمٌ﴾ (Aṣ-Ṣāffāt 37:142)
