ل ذ ذl-dh-dh
(س) لَذَّ يَلَذُّ لَذَّةًladhdha yaladhdhu ladhdhatan (original form: لَذِذَ يَلْذَذُladhidha yaldhadhu): to give pleasure, to be delicious. ﴿فِيْهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيْهِ الْأَنْفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ﴾ (Az-Zukhruf 43:71)
لَذَّةladhdhah pl. لَذَّاتladhdhāt: pleasure, delight. ﴿وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّنْ خَمْرٍ لَّذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِيْنَ﴾ (Muḥammad 47:15); ﴿بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشّٰرِبِيْنَ﴾ (Aṣ-Ṣāffāt 37:46) — Note: here the verbal noun (maṣdar) "لَذَّةladhdhah" is used as an adjective, which is a mode of intensification.
لَذِيْذladhīdh (pattern فَعِيْلfaʿīl): delicious (this word is not used in the Quran).
