خ و یkh-w-y
(ض) خَوٰى يَخْوِيْ خَوَاءًkhawā yakhwī khawāʾan: to be overturned, to be demolished, to be empty.
خَاوِيَةٌkhāwiyah (feminine of the active participle, ism fāʿil, خَاوٍkhāw): that which falls over, i.e. overturned, in ruins. ﴿وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلٰى عُرُوْشِهَا﴾ (Al-Baqarah 2:259); ﴿كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ﴾ (Al-Ḥāqqah 69:7)
