ض ح یḍ-ḥ-y
(س) ضَحِيَ يَضْحٰى ضَحًيḍaḥiya yaḍḥā ḍaḥany: to suffer from the sun, to be exposed to the sun, to be scorched by it. ﴿وَاَنَّكَ لَا تَظْمَؤُا فِيْهَا وَلَا تَضْحٰى﴾ (Ṭā Hā 20:119)
ضُحًيḍuḥany: late morning, the forenoon. ﴿وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحٰىهَا﴾ (Ash-Shams 91:1); ﴿وَالضُّحٰى﴾ (Aḍ-Ḍuḥā 93:1); ﴿اَنْ يَّاْتِيَهُمْ بَاْسُنَا ضُحًي وَّهُمْ يَلْعَبُوْنَ﴾ (Al-Aʿrāf 7:98) (see ḍ ḥ w)
