ض غ ثḍ-gh-th
(ف) ضَغَثَ يَضْغَثُ ضَغْثًاḍaghatha yaḍghathu ḍaghthan: (1) to confuse a matter (2) to mix dry and green grass.
ضِغْثٌḍighth pl. اَضْغَاثٌaḍghāth: (1) confused thoughts (2) a handful of mixed dry and green grass. ﴿قَالُوْٓا اَضْغَاثُ اَحْلَامٍ﴾ (Yūsuf 12:44); ﴿وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَاضْرِبْ بِّهِۦ﴾ (Ṣād 38:44)
