(ن) عَضَا يَعْضُوْ عَضْوًاʿaḍā yaʿḍū ʿaḍwan: to divide up, to separate into parts. (this verb is not used in the Quran).
عِضَةٌʿiḍah pl. عِضُوْنَʿiḍūna: a part, a piece. ﴿الَّذِيْنَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْاٰنَ عِضِيْنَ﴾ (Al-Ḥijr 15:91)
