ا ن مʾ-n-m
— أَنَامanām: all creatures, the inhabitants; some of the lexicographers apply it to every living thing and some only to jinn and men. It is also said to be connected with ʾ n s (with interchange of nūn and sīn). Only once in the Quran, and only as a noun: ﴿وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ﴾ (Ar-Raḥmān 55:10)
