ز ن مz-n-m

— زَنِيْمٌzanīm (on the pattern of فَعِيْلٌfaʿīl): one who is attached to a people yet does not belong to them; a bastard; a base-born intruder. The original sense is from زَنَمَةٌzanamah, the superfluous flap of skin hanging from a goat's neck, which is neither of use nor properly a part of it; hence the exegetes say it is the culmination of the censure enumerated in these verses. Only once in the Quran, at the end of nine blameworthy qualities: ﴿عُتُلٍّۢ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ زَنِيْمٍ﴾ (Al-Qalam 68:13)
