(س) يَقِظَ يَيْقَظُ يَقَظًاyaqiẓa yayqaẓu yaqaẓan: to be alert, to be awake. (this verb is not used in the Quran).
يَقِظٌyaqiẓ pl. اَيْقَاظٌayqāẓ (adjective): alert, awake, wakeful. Only once in the Quran: ﴿وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ اَيْقَاظًا وَّهُمْ رُقُوْدٌ﴾ (Al-Kahf 18:18)
