quadriliteral — اِقْشَعَرَّ يَقْشَعِرُّ اِقْشِعْرَارًاiqshaʿarra yaqshaʿirru iqshiʿrāran (verb form (bāb) افعِلَالafʿilāl): for the hair to stand on end, for the body to shrink and shudder. A morphological point: it is on the same pattern as اِطْمَأَنَّiṭmaʾanna and اِشْمَأَزَّishmaʾazza — and this pattern carries the sense of a state overwhelming its subject; the three can be taught together. Only once in the Quran: ﴿تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُوْدُ الَّذِيْنَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ﴾ (Az-Zumar 39:23).
