(ض) نَسَفَ يَنْسِفُ نَسْفًاnasafa yansifu nasfan: to uproot and fling away; (of the wind) to tear up the soil and blow it away, to pulverize and scatter. ﴿فَقُلْ يَنْسِفُهَا رَبِّيْ نَسْفًا﴾ (Ṭā Hā 20:105); ﴿وَاِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ﴾ (Al-Mursalāt 77:10)
