(ن) نَضَرَ يَنْضُرُ نَضْرَةً وَنَضَارَةًnaḍara yanḍuru naḍratan wa-naḍāratan: (of the face) to be fresh and radiant, to glow. (This verb is not used in the Quran.)
نَضْرَةٌnaḍrah (verbal noun, maṣdar, also a noun, ism dhāt): freshness, bloom. ﴿وَلَقّٰىهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَّسُرُوْرًا﴾ (Al-Insān 76:11); ﴿تَعْرِفُ فِيْ وُجُوْهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيْمِ﴾ (Al-Muṭaffifīn 83:24)
نَاضِرَةٌnāḍirah (active participle, ism fāʿil, feminine): fresh, radiant. Only once in the Quran: ﴿وُجُوْهٌ يَّوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ اِلٰى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ﴾ (Al-Qiyāmah 75:22–23) — Note: here the paronomasia (jinās) between «نَاضِرَةnāḍirah» (n ḍ r) and «نَاظِرَةnāẓirah» (n ẓ r) is most subtle, and the two roots are distinct.
