ل ظ یl-ẓ-y
— لَظيٰlaẓyā: pure blazing fire, flame — one of the names of Hell, and a diptote (ghayr munṣarif) (because it is a proper noun and feminine). ﴿كَلَّا إِنَّهَا لَظٰى﴾ (Al-Maʿārij 70:15)
Form V (tafaʿʿul) تَلَظّٰى يَتَلَظّٰى تَلَظِّيًاtalaẓẓā yatalaẓẓā talaẓẓiyan: to blaze fiercely, to throw out flames; the original form was تَتَلَظّٰىtatalaẓẓā, and one tāʾ for ease of pronunciation was elided. Only once in the Quran: ﴿فَأَنْذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظّٰى﴾ (Al-Layl 92:14).
