ل ق طl-q-ṭ
(ن) لَقَطَ يَلْقُطُ لَقْطًاlaqaṭa yalquṭu laqṭan: to pick something up from the ground, to gather (this verb is not used in the Quran).
Form VIII (iftiʿāl) اِلْتَقَطَ يَلْتَقِطُ اِلْتِقَاطًاiltaqaṭa yaltaqiṭu iltiqāṭan: to pick up a thing that has fallen or been dropped (اتفاقاًatfāqan). ﴿يَلْتَقِطْهُ بَعْضُ السَّيَّارَةِ﴾ (Yūsuf 12:10); ﴿فَالْتَقَطَهُۥٓ اٰلُ فِرْعَوْنَ﴾ (Al-Qaṣaṣ 28:8)
