ک و بk-w-b
— كُوْبkūb pl. أَكْوَابakwāb: a cup without a handle or a spout; the lexicographers state explicitly that this is what distinguishes it from إِبْرِيْقibrīq (which has a handle and a spout) — and the Quran mentions the two together. Four times in the Quran: ﴿بِأَكْوَابٍ وَّأَبَارِيْقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِّنْ مَّعِيْنٍ﴾ (Al-Wāqiʿah 56:18) and ﴿وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوْعَةٌ﴾ (Al-Ghāshiyah 88:14).
