ج ی دj-y-d
— جِيْدjīd pl. أَجْيَادajyād: neck, especially its front part where a necklace is worn. Among the Arabs جِيْدjīd carries a connotation of beauty, unlike عُنُقʿunuq, which is the neck in general. Only once in the Quran: ﴿فِيْ جِيْدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّنْ مَّسَدٍ﴾ (Al-Masad 111:5)
