(ض) جَرَمَ يَجْرِمُ جَرْمًاjarama yajrimu jarman: to incite someone to an evil deed; then in a general sense it is also used for inciting; also to earn.
لَا جَرَمَlā jarama contains a detached lā (lā munfaṣilah): just as لَآ اُقْسِمُlā uqsimu does not mean "I do not swear", but rather the lā stands apart and اُقْسِمُuqsimu stands apart — i.e. "No! I do swear". Likewise the lā in لَا جَرَمَlā jarama is detached; rather than entangle the ordinary reader in this subtlety, it is generally translated "there is no doubt".
Form IV (ifʿāl) اَجْرَمَ يُجْرِمُ اِجْرَامًاajrama yujrimu ijrāman: to do evil, to commit a crime.
