(ن) هَشَّ يَهُشُّ هَشًّاhashsha yahushshu hashshan (original form: هَشَشَ يَهْشُشُhashasha yahshushu): to beat down the leaves of a tree (with a staff). Only once in the Quran, in the words of the Prophet Mūsā (peace be upon him): ﴿وَاَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلٰى غَنَمِيْ﴾ (Ṭā Hā 20:18)
