ع ب ق رʿ-b-q-r
quadriliteral — عَبْقَرِيّʿabqariyy: an extremely fine and matchless thing; it is a relative adjective (ism nisbah) to «عَبْقَرʿabqar», which for the Arabs was a legendary place whose carpets and fabrics were considered matchless. From this, in Arabic every peerless thing came to be called ʿabqarī. Only once in the Quran, in the description of the carpets of Paradise: ﴿مُتَّكِئِيْنَ عَلٰى رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَّعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ﴾ (Ar-Raḥmān 55:76).
