ا ب بʾ-b-b
(ن، ض) أَبَّ يَؤُبُّabba yaʾubbu / يَئِبُّ أَبًّا وَإِبَابَةًyaʾibbu abban wa-ʾibābatan: to resolve on something and set out towards it; to prepare to depart.
أَبّabb (noun, ism dhāt): the herbage and fodder that the earth brings forth of itself and that cattle graze upon; this is the well-known view among the lexicographers, and some have applied it to every growing thing that is not for human food. Only once in the Quran: ﴿وَفَاكِهَةً وَّأَبًّا﴾ (ʿAbasa 80:31)
