(ف، س) زَهَدَ يَزْهَدُzahada yazhadu / زَهِدَ يَزْهَدُ زُهْدًاzahida yazhadu zuhdan: to have no desire for something; to show indifference towards it.
زَاهِدٌzāhid pl. زَاهِدُوْنَzāhidūna (active participle, ism fāʿil): one who has no desire; indifferent. ﴿وَكَانُوْا فِيْهِ مِنَ الزّٰهِدِيْنَ﴾ (Yūsuf 12:20)
