و ھ یw-h-y
(ض) وَهَيٰ يَهِيْ وَهْيًاwahā yahī wa-hyan: to be weak, to be rent, to become slack.
وَاهِيَةwāhiyah (active participle (ism fāʿil), feminine): weak, worn out, about to be rent. Only once in the Quran, in the description of the sky on the Day of Resurrection: ﴿وَانْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَّاهِيَةٌ﴾ (Al-Ḥāqqah 69:16) — that is, on that day it will be slack and frail.
