ط ح وṭ-ḥ-w
(ن) طَحَا يَطْحُو طَحْوًاṭaḥā yaṭḥū ṭaḥwan: to spread out, to lay flat — synonymous with d ḥ w. The lexicographers say that طَحَاṭaḥā carries the sense of spreading far and wide. Only once in the Quran: ﴿وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا﴾ (Ash-Shams 91:6).
