ش و ظsh-w-ẓ
— شُوَاظٌshuwāẓ: a pure flame without smoke, a tongue of fire; the lexicographers differ over whether it includes smoke or not, and most say that shuwāẓ is a flame in which there is no smoke. Only once in the Quran: ﴿يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍ وَّنُحَاسٌ﴾ (Ar-Raḥmān 55:35)
