كَادِحkādiḥ (active participle, ism fāʿil): a toiler, one who labours. Twice in the Quran, both in the same verse: ﴿يٰۤأَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلٰى رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيْهِ﴾ (Al-Inshiqāq 84:6).
