ف و مf-w-m
— فُوْمfūm: the exegetes hold two views: (1) wheat, and any grain from which bread is made — this is the view of the majority; (2) garlic (some have said that the original form was ثُوْمthūm, the thāʾ being changed to fāʾ). Only once in the Quran: ﴿مِنْۢ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّائِهَا وَفُوْمِهَا﴾ (Al-Baqarah 2:61).
