— بُقْعَةbuqʿah pl. بِقَاعbiqāʿ: a piece of ground distinguished from its surroundings in colour or condition; a tract, a plot. The lexicographers say the original sense is a difference of colour (أَبْقَعabqaʿ: piebald). Only once in the Quran: ﴿فِي الْبُقْعَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَةِ﴾ (Al-Qaṣaṣ 28:30)
