ع ھ نʿ-h-n
— عِهْنʿihn: dyed wool, especially that which has been carded and softened. Twice in the Quran, both times in the simile for the mountains on the Day of Resurrection: ﴿وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوْشِ﴾ (Al-Qāriʿah 101:5) and ﴿وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ﴾ (Al-Maʿārij 70:9) — i.e. flying about like carded coloured wool.
