Revision 069: Fa'il Maf'ool Rules

In today’s lesson, we establish a universal "Golden Rule" for identifying the Active Participle (اسم الفاعل - Ism al-Fa'il) and the Passive Participle (اسم المفعول - Ism al-Maf'ool) in derived Arabic verb forms (مزید فیہ ابواب).
If you've ever been confused about whether a word means "the one doing the action" or "the one receiving the action," this lesson is for you! We learn that any derived noun starting with a "Mu" (مُ) is determined by the vowel on its second-to-last root letter (Ain Kalima). A Kasra (Zair) means it's a Fa'il, and a Fatha (Zabar) means it's a Maf'ool!
What you will learn in this lesson:
✅ Review of standard Fa'il and Maf'ool patterns for 3-letter roots.
✅ The Golden Rule for derived verbs: Look for the "Mu" (مُ) prefix.
✅ How a Kasra (زیر) makes it an Ism al-Fa'il (e.g., مُعَلِّم).
✅ How a Fatha (زبر) makes it an Ism al-Maf'ool (e.g., مُعَلَّم).
✅ Tips for finding the root letters and identifying the Ain Kalima in complex words.
✅ Extensive interactive practice analyzing Quranic words like مُخْلَصُون ,مُصَدِّق, and مُنْقَلِبُون.
